Armed with nothing but a hacked Juniper router and a dream, he set out to create a new kind of internet service provider. One that wouldn’t leave you hanging during the most important moments of your Netflix binge.

But that was just the beginning. As he delved deeper into the world of networking, he discovered a love for troubleshooting that bordered on obsession. He could spend hours poring over a network diagram, tracing packets like a bloodhound chasing a scent.

And that’s how The IT Dept was born. A one-man army of IT expertise, taking on the world one network at a time. Armed with the latest networking technology (and a token ring network that he refuses to retire), he’s here to save you from the horrors of slow internet and network downtime.
